An English teacher bonds with her outcast student over their shared isolation on Valentine's Day. I wrote, produced and acted in this film. It is largely inspired by my childhood friend who was always bullied for supposedly being 'gay.' It turns out he is gay and 15 years later, he is finally happy, still in the closet, but at least happy. My other best friend and I made the film together and shot it at our old high school where I grew up over the 13 years I was there. It was incredibly nostalgic and sentimental for me to go there and work on something creative with other spirited and hopeful people. We believe in the message of the film and hope that it touches other people. Always be yourself and if you lose who that is, you can always find her if you search with an open and courageous heart.
