Traditional dance originated in Samoa. Male dancer demonstrates spinning of the Fire Knife which is basically a baton like stick of metal and wood with a knife blade at one end. The blade and the opposite end shaft are fitted with cloth and soaked with fuel. Once both ends are lit, the dancer demonstrates a variety of movements. Dance is typically accompanied by drumming.
